can u cut players and not take salary hit? There is no penalty for cutting players at this point and time(brooks the creator of the game said he is working on something though).. I will probably make some kind of rule where you can not cut an X amount of salary per season, maybe like $25 mill max or something no idea yet.

I'm 75% sure it's like FBB where some guys ask to re-sign and some don't but I'm not positive.

because the file I previously uplaoded had an entire season run on it which including TC.
I know you keep saying that even before the pre-season file the ratings "were better" but I doubt it.

Harrison, J. LB 84 87 86 27 87 10 89 84 47 10 15 19 32 65 Timmons, L. LB 83 82 94 13 65 39 83 85 55 36 21 19 19 91 Woodley, L. LB 83 80 82 15 69 12 92 82 67 30 41 23 16 82
That's after the TC... I think that's pretty damn good.

The original file you uploaded had Willis at 91. Gore at 93 I believe. I complained that Willis should be nearer to 100. Now hes 81. Whatever. Im just saying lots of people still dont understand and its leading to people being less interested. I think this is being rushed. Either the rating system makes no sense, or it does and it isnt being explained well.

Either the rating system makes no sense, or it does and it isnt being explained well. Rushed? How is anyone going to figure out how things work without moving the league forward and learning from mistakes and such? That doesn't make much sense to me. Have you read the thread that explains player's ratings? It's stickied and announced for ALL to view. I think it explains things pretty damn clearly. I've only uploaded one file. One had TC run which was the pre-season one and now this one. It could very much be that you thought you saw Willis with 91 overall, you sure it wasn't tacking? Patrick Willis to me is a top 10 lb, probably top 5. With an overall rating of 89 I think that puts him there. He finished with 124 tackles, 6 sacks, and 3 TFL. I tihnk that's pretty damn spot on with his usual defensive production is it not. I think you're just so used to FBB's simplicity. If FBB had an "overall" rating there wouldn't even be a discussion on this.

Farrior, J. LB PIT 16 96 0 7/3 4 1 2 0 0 Harrison, J. LB PIT 16 85 2 5/1 10 1 1 0 1
Look at Harrison's stats, that's almost identical to this year's NFL stats where he also finished with 10 sacks. The game was more generous with tackles giving him 85 when in real life he had 79.

and before you say "don't get mad" I'm not, I'd rather people argue about this stuff then dissappear and quit. I'm really losing interest because people are quitting and it has nothing to do with the ratings because most of these guys stopped logging in before I even uploaded anything.
