Believing that all life on this planet evolved over a great period of time is way more far-fetched than believing that everything was created by some super being.... .... ....

What are the geological & astronomical evidence that you are talking about that supports your faith? Very interested in hearing what EVIDENCE there is that holds more ground than evolution in your opinion. In asking this, don't get the wrong idea. I respect everyone's religious beliefs. Like I said, I can't really prove much in a single post on a forum.. But if you are really interested in learning more, I recommend watching this video: nwcreation.net/videos/our_solar_system.htmlIt's pretty dang long, so I doubt you ever watch it. But I share very similar views to that the person in that presentation. So if you really want to know about it, that video will help you understand where I come from.

Watched the whole video...
couple of thoughts...
-Bible says the Sun and planets etc were "created to glorify the creator". Problem - An omnipotent being (ie a God) would have no desire/need to be glorified. -He uses the argument that some scientific ideas are "not proof, just stories". Same thing can be said of creationism. Where is the proof? -Science is best guess (or informed guessing) until something can be proven to be true. The only way for a theory to be exact would be for people to be able to verify things first hand (ie. actually going to the core of a planet and studying it's composition... or seeing how the moon came to orbit the earth).
He doesn't provide any evidence that supports creationism. He only attempts to disprove evolution by pointing out contradictions/problems with the different proposed theories. Until something is proven without a doubt, it's all best guess. Finding flaws in one idea doesn't make another idea correct. At least these scientific theories actually attempt to explain why things happen.
